Fractographic Montage A fractographic montage is a convenient means of organizing a lot of fracture origin photos and integrating them with mechanical property data such as the Weibull strength distribution curve shown below. Photos may be applied temporarily to card poster board with common artists mounting spray so that the photos can easily be lifted off. The poster paper also serves as a convenient place to write notes or make calculations. More elaborate renditions could be constructed for poster paper presentations or publications.
